Beers, Bars & Cigars takes you beyond the resorts for a relaxed, private afternoon of local bars, cold beer, Dominican cigars, rum, and good company. We’ll head away from the resort scene and stop at a few of my favourite local spots including the region's only Brew Pub, where you can enjoy a cold beer, have a drink, meet some local characters, and simply take in a little everyday Dominican life.

 

One of our stops introduces you to one of the Dominican Republic’s best-known traditions — cigars. See how Dominican cigars are made, learn a little about the tobacco and the process behind them, and, if you like, enjoy a cigar for yourself. After the cigars, we move on to rum! Sample a selection of Dominican rums and discover another flavour that has long been part of Dominican culture.

From there, we continue our afternoon with a couple more local stops. There’s no need to watch the clock. If you're enjoying a place, we can stay awhile. If you're ready to move on, we move on.

This isn’t a crowded pub crawl or a traditional organized excursion. It’s 100% private — no crowds, no rushing, and no pressure. Think of it more like heading out for a few drinks with a local friend who knows the neighbourhood.
